The Outreach Collective is the story of 2 awesome individuals who've spent the good part of the past 15+ years in the higher education domain. With their commitment towards creating a future of possibilities and the demand for focused engagement opportunities for outreach professionals the TOC community was born! And it was founded on a simple foundation of creating inclusivity and promoting diversity for all.
In less than 6 months over 1,000 professionals have become a part of this rapidly growing community and the high inter-community engagement has led people to not only find growth in their careers, but expand their horizons, and share their knowledge and experience with other!

Our Story
Meet Bhakti Shah - Founder of TOC
Bhakti Shah has served as the Director of Global Outreach and Strategic Partnerships at Huron University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in International Journalism, bringing extensive experience in K-12 and higher education sectors, including admissions, guidance, and ed-tech.
Previously, Bhakti has worked with organizations like Krea University and Univariety. Her dedication to higher education is evident in her efforts to build strategic institutional partnerships and broaden Huron University's global presence.
Bhakti believes universities act as essential knowledge ecosystems, connecting K-12 education, the workforce, and industry. In her free time, Bhakti enjoys cooking, listening to music, and spending time with her dog. She is also passionate about traveling, reading, and creating new workshop content.
